Docryva Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 19, 2026

Overview

Docryva scans paper documents locally. No account is required, and scanned documents or document metadata are not uploaded to a Docryva server.

Scans And Documents

You scan paper documents with the device camera. Docryva stores scan images and document metadata locally on your device, including document titles, page numbers, file names, detected corners, and scan settings.

Camera Access

Camera access is used to scan documents and detect document edges. Camera content is used for app functionality and is not sent to a Docryva backend.

PDF Export

PDF exports are created locally on your device. Exported PDFs are shared only when you use the system share sheet or another export action.

Usage Analytics

Docryva uses Google Firebase Analytics for app and feature usage events. Analytics may include app, device, region, app-instance, ad-flow, and purchase-flow data. Document titles, scanned images, file names, file paths, and PDF contents are not added to Analytics events. See Firebase Privacy and Google's Privacy Policy.

Ads

Docryva uses Google AdMob for rewarded ads before PDF export. AdMob may collect device, app, interaction, diagnostic, approximate location, and advertising identifier data where allowed. On iOS, Docryva asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before using ad tracking identifiers.

Purchases

Docryva Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Docryva receives purchase status to unlock ad-free PDF export, but not your full payment card details. You can optionally link Pro access with Sign in with Apple to use the subscription on another device. When you choose this, Docryva uses only your Apple account identifier with the app ID, product ID, subscription status, platform, source, and optional transaction identifier. Your name and email address are not requested.

Data Sharing

Docryva does not sell personal data. Analytics and ad data are shared with Google services as described above. Purchase status is processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Optional subscription sharing data is sent to Derksen IT servers to store and check Pro access for the linked Apple account identifier.

Deleting Local Data

You can delete pages or documents in the app, clear app storage through your operating system where available, or uninstall Docryva to remove local app data. PDFs shared or saved outside the app remain under your control in those destinations.

Children's Privacy

Docryva is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account and does not create user profiles.
